Shipping Policy for Essential Roofing Supply

At Essential Roofing Supply, we aim to provide efficient and reliable delivery of your roofing supplies. Here are the details of our shipping policies:

1. Free/Discounted Shipping

We offer free FedEx Ground shipping on all Low-Slope Roofing Fastener, Plate, and Termination Bar orders within the lower 48 states. For larger orders requiring freight service, we provide free LTL (Less Than Truckload) shipping to commercial addresses, using a carrier of our choice.

Coil Nails include free shipping throughout most Northeastern states and discounted shipping rates to the rest of the lower 48 — available only on pallet-quantity orders.

For larger freight orders shipping to residential addresses, shipping remains free; however, customers are responsible for mandatory residential delivery and liftgate service charges.

2. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii
We do ship to Alaska and Hawaii; however, free shipping does not apply to these locations. Shipping costs for orders to Alaska and Hawaii will be calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of the order.

3. Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping options are available via UPS at the advertised cost for those who need their orders sooner. You can view specific rates and delivery timelines at checkout.

4. Delivery Timelines
Most orders are delivered within 1-5 business days across the lower 48 states. Delivery times for Alaska and Hawaii may vary. Please note that delivery times are based on business days, excluding weekends and federal holidays.

5. Additional Charges for LTL Shipments
For LTL shipments, additional charges may apply under the following circumstances:
   - Residential Deliveries: If the delivery address is residential.
   - Lift Gate Requirements: If a lift gate is required to unload the shipment.
   - Scheduled Deliveries: If a specific delivery time is requested by the customer.

Customers will be notified of any such additional charges, and confirmation will be sought before proceeding with the shipment.

LTL Delivery Requirements and Redelivery Policy:
For all LTL shipments, the consignee (customer) is required to be present at the designated delivery location during the scheduled delivery window to accept and sign for the shipment. Failure to do so may result in redelivery attempts. In such cases, any fees assessed by the carrier for redelivery shall be the sole responsibility of the customer.

If multiple delivery attempts are made and/or the consignee refuses to accept the shipment, resulting in the order being returned to Essential Roofing Supply, a refund will be issued for the product cost less all applicable shipping charges, any carrier-assessed redelivery or attempted delivery fees, and a thirty percent (30%) restocking fee.

6. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number to monitor its status until delivery.

7. Geographic Restrictions
Our shipping services cover the entire United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. International shipping is not available at this time.
